Destination: Jamaica!
Take one very stressed out bride planning a destination wedding in Jamaica, that just happens to be Shaunda’s “little sister” who she’s known since her days at NC State and you have the perfect client for E’magine Events!
Kristy and Lubert were amazing and being surrounded by the couple’s children, family and friends on their wedding day could not have been better. The couple met at work back in 2004, but their relationship really began to bloom in 2007. After having several children and experiencing many life events together, Lubert dropped to one knee and asked Kristy to marry him on New Year’s Eve of 2017!
This was quite the adventure for E’magine Events as not only were we the wedding planner and designer but we also created the beautiful flowers and the welcome bags for all of the wedding guests. And you may have seen us doing a little hair and makeup too.
The Moon Palace Jamaica All-Inclusive Resort overlooking the beach was incredible, and Kristy looked AMAZING! She wore a full tulle ball gown with a lace bodice and sweetheart neckline. Her drop earrings and crystal headpiece really finished the look.
Lubert looked sharp in his royal blue vested suit, and his hot pink rose boutonniere was the perfect pairing to her bouquet of hot pink orchids and roses.
The spectacular hot pink orchids were continued in the ceremony decorations. Family and friends gathered on the lawn where the wedding gazebo was decorated with a swag of tropical greenery and more of the orchids. The bridal party carried bouquets of hot pink roses, white anthurium, and Ti Leaves.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows, followed by a very special sand ceremony that included all of the children.
Kristy and Lubert ended their wedding ceremony by jumping the broom and spending time alone for some wonderful wedding photos as they walked the resorts beautiful gardens. We loved seeing how happy they were, both smiling from ear to ear.
Wedding guests gathered on the lawn for a buffet dinner and a night of dancing. Tables were set with long white linen, gold charger plates and filled with centerpieces of tropical flowers and greenery.
It was wonderful to see Kristy and Lubert take some time to sit back and watch all the people they love having such a great time.
Congratulations Kristy and Lubert! We are so blessed that we were able to be part of your Jamaican destination wedding.
Thank you to Morgan Crutchfield Photography for the beautiful wedding photos.
